This study was conducted with the aim of investigating a model of couple burnout in relation with the multi-dimensional pattern of connection with God and thought and language controls. By multi-stage sampling, 350 married students studying in the public and Azad universities (2013-2014) were selected and then the correlation among them was calculated. The Pines's (1996) couple burnout measure, the questionnaire of Mazaheri's & Pasandideh's (2011) three-dimensional pattern of connection of human with God, the questionnaire of Algarabel's & Martinez's (2005) thought control ability, and a researcher-made questionnaire of language control were applied in this study. The validity and reliability of questionnaires were calculated through factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha and the tests of structural equation modeling were used. One of the findings was that the multi-dimensional pattern of connection with God, only indirectly, predicts the increase of couple burnout by decreasing thought and language controls. In addition, the path of triangle of God-oriented faith can predict the decrease of couple burnout only by increasing thought and language controls.

Social capital is an interdisciplinary issue which has been increasingly focused by scientists studying on different fields of sciences, especially management and sociology, in recent years. It is obvious that the development of social capital depends on different factors that one of them is religion and religious culture. The present research has investigated the relationship among Islamic life style, psychological capital, and social capital in the form of a causal model. This study was a descriptive correlational research and used structural equation modeling. The population has included all employees of Research Institute of Petroleum Industry; thus, 166 questionnaires were distributed and then collected. The results showed that Islamic life style has a positive, direct, and meaningful effect on social and psychological capitals. In the relationship between Islamic life style and social capital, psychological capital meaningfully plays the role of a mediator.

The present study which is a quasi-experimental research was conducted with the purpose of investigating the effectiveness of the group education of Islamic meditation pattern on life style and the married women's generalized anxiety and was performed in an area in Isfahan named Bonroud in 2014. Three stages of sampling, convenience, purposive, and random, were done among the population of married women with generalized anxiety disorder living in Bonroud. Finally, 24 women were randomly placed in two groups of test and control. The tools applied in this study were the diagnostic criteria of generalized anxiety disorder based on DSM-IV, the short scale of GAD-7, and Life Style Questionnaire (LSQ). These two questionnaires were completed during pre-test, post-test, and 45 day follow-up phases by test and control groups. The statistical data were analyzed via analysis of covariance. The results showed that the interventions of the group education of Islamic meditation pattern result in the improvement of life style and reduction of the level of generalized anxiety in the married women with generalized anxiety disorder (P=0.001).

The present research aimed to investigate the relationship between interpersonal identity and religious identity in students; thus, 343 undergraduate students (191 girls and 151 boys) were selected among those studying in departments of humanities and technical-engineering in University of Tehran by multi-stage sampling. The research tools were the Bennion's & Adams's (1986) Extended Objective Measure of Ego Identity Status (EOM-EIS-2) and the Rahiminezhad's & Ahmadi's (1995) questionnaire of religious identity. The research findings showed: a) there is a negative correlation between bewilderment and accepting religious identity; b) there is a positive correlation between follow-up and accepting religious identity; c) there is not a relationship between being crisis-hit and accepting and/or rejecting religious identity; d) there is not a significant relationship between having religious identity and accepting religious identity; e) the direction of correlations between variables are similar in both sexes as well as the significance of variables

This study was conducted in order to renormalize the questionnaire of family efficiency measurement (S.FEQI). The population was married undergraduate and graduate students and married hawzah students of levels 2 and 3 in the city of Qom. 391 students were selected among them by convenience sampling. The data were analyzed with the help of classical test theory and item response theory and also by SPSS, MULTILOG, and R softwares. The study results showed that the differentiation power and awareness level of 19 items are not enough and the items that show the very low and low efficiencies can not differentiate the respondents. Therefore, these two items can be merged and then the questionnaire can be corrected. Finally, the questionnaire of family efficiency with 60 items is able to measure insight, legal, and moral components with, respectively, 20, 14, and 26 items.

The aim of present research was to investigate the relationship between self-concept and God-image in the religious-spiritual treatment of psychiatric disorders. This research reviewed the Islamic texts and experimental studies in order to analyze the relationship between self-concept and God-image. The findings showed that the presence and enrichment of knowledge and religious beliefs about the image of God do not result in the correction of God-image and mental health in all people in religious-spiritual treatment. Some Quran verses mention strong, impervious, inflexible, and stable structures against the presence and penetration of knowledge and religious beliefs. Many narratives say that the correction of self-concept causes to a spiritual growth and a correct God-image. The experimental studies and clinical observations done by the authors also confirm that there is a relationship between them. Therefore, the correction and adjustment of self-concept are important factors for the correction of God-image and people's mental health in religious-spiritual treatment, especially in chronic psychiatric disorders and personality disorders in which there are faulty self-concepts (fundamental assumptions and maladaptive schemas).

The discussion about Islamic psychology is a challenge to a controversial issue which is related to some different meanings that come from this concept. This research discusses whether Islamic psychology is a priori or a posteriori. The main question is whether the Islamic psychology is an actual and realized nature or a potential concept and a realizable possibility. In response, it has been tried to be argued that the nature of Islamic psychology is a posteriori. According to the Reichenbach's theory (the separation of collection from judgment), there are three key assumptions in this issue: first, Islamic psychology is a type of religious science, therefore, it is a possible concept; second, philosophy lack is not equal to experimental nullity, thus, realizing Islamic psychology does not mean that contemporary psychology theories will be denied; and third, the importance of assumptions of scientific theories is what its consequence will be to pay attention to infrastructure of current psychology theories and to attempt to formulate new theories based on Islamic assumptions.
