The research tools were the Islamic lifestyle test and religious orientation test. The data were analyzed by the factor analysis and MANOVA. After analyzing, 12 questions were corrected and 9 questions were deleted. The Cronbach's alpha was equal to 0.86. In the sample, the number of factors was 9 that it was similar to the original version, but some names were different. The factors were named as follows: worship, negative open-mindedness, continence, commitment, positive relationship, wisdom, the world-willingness, activeness, and incuriosity. These factors explained 39.42% of the variance of the adolescents' lifestyle. 8 questions were deleted in the factor analysis. The simultaneous validity of the two tests demonstrated a correlation of 0.70. According to the factor validity, convergent validity, and appropriate reliability of the Islamic Life Style Test-Adolescent Version (ILST-AV), it is suggested to use it for doing researches about the adolescents

This research aimed to test the religiosity model among the students based on the parenting styles with the mediation of self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and mental health; thus, 400 students were selected by cluster sampling in the city of Mahabad in 2014. All participators responded to the questionnaires of self-esteem, emotional intelligence, mental health, religiosity, and parenting styles. The Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis were applied for data-analysis. The results showed that the parenting styles, self-esteem, and emotional intelligence have a direct relationship with the mental health and religiosity. The results of path analysis showed that the effect of despotic style on self-esteem has the highest path coefficient (-0.91) and the effect of permissive style on emotional intelligence has the lowest path coefficient (0.05). In the final model, the variables of emotional intelligence (0.74), authoritative style (0.11), self-esteem (0.13), and mental health (0.20) directly determine the religiosity variance and the highest indirect coefficient is related to the effect of authoritative style on religiosity (0.54). The findings demonstrated that the parenting styles are more important in the religiosity of students.

The chastity is the self-restraint of sexual and emotional behavior outside the religious limits; and Hijab is the obvious appearance of chastity and it is one of the most important aspects of chastity. The research question was which psychological traits there are in men and women that cause them to have some frameworks for their sexual and emotional relationships. In this research, the qualitative content analysis was used for reviewing psychological works and the common methods of Islamic sciences were used for inferring from Hadiths and interpretations of the Quran. Based on the research results, in the human relationships, the following are the affairs that are appropriate to observe the chastity and they need the non-Mahram men's and women's good cover in the face of each other: modesty, privacy seeking, the prevention of physical and sexual look at women, the adjustment of sexual need in the human relationships, the need to control the desire for the women's eagerness to show beauty, and the need to be mentally and physically healthy.

The present study was conducted with the aim of predicting loneliness based on the attachment style concerning the role of relationship with God as a mediator. The population was the 18-35 year old young people in the city of Tehran; thus, by visiting the public places of the city, 232 people were selected by convenience sampling. They answered the Hazan's & Shaver's AdultAttachment Questionnaire (AAQ), Iranian Loneliness Questionnaire (ILQ), and the Quality of Relationship with God (Bam Aval). The data were analyzed by the correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that first, the ambivalent attachment style is an important predictor variable in both the loneliness and the quality of relationship with god; second, the importance of this attachment pattern is to the extent that even a desirable and secure relationship with God (based on the hope and kindness) can also not influence its effect on the loneliness and even with a good relationship with God, the ambivalent attachment style is still a positive and important predictor for the loneliness.

The purpose of this research was to predict the religious orientation based on the spiritual intelligence and moral intelligence among the students of Bu-Ali Sina University in the city of Hamedan. This correlation research applied the descriptive methodology. The sample was 360 students selected by random sampling. The research tools were the Allport's & Ross's (1950) religious orientation scale, the Abdollahzadeh et al.'s (2009) spiritual intelligence scale, and the Lenik's & Kill's (2005) moral intelligence scale. The Pearson correlation and multiple regression tests were used for analyzing the data. The findings showed that the spiritual intelligence has a negative and significant relationship with the extrinsic religious orientation (r=-0.33, p<0.01) and it has a positive and significant relationship with the intrinsic religious orientation (r=-0.28, p<0.01) and the moral intelligence (r=-0.23, p<0.01). In addition, the results demonstrated that combining the components of spiritual intelligence and moral intelligence predicts 12% of the variance of intrinsic religious orientation. The research results confirmed the predictive power of moral intelligence and spiritual intelligence over the intrinsic religious orientation
