The present study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of couple boundary training on family resilience and marital burnout. This quasi-experimental study with a pre-test-post-test and control group design with a two-month follow-up was conducted on 30 married women in Ilam city, who were randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups (15 people in each group). The experimental group received the training package - Setting Couple Boundaries Based on Islamic Sources - during 10 two-hour sessions. Participants responded to the Sickbee Family Resilience Questionnaire (2005) and the Pines Marital Burnout Scale (1996) in three stages of pre-test, post-test, and follow-up. Data were analyzed using analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). The results showed that couple boundary training significantly increased family resilience (p < 0.001) and reduced marital burnout (p < 0.001). The findings showed that this training package can be used as an effective intervention to improve family mental health.
