The main purpose of this article is a comparative analysis of moral intelligence in the view of Borba (2005) and Lennick and Kiel (2003) with the view of Quran and Imams. Moral development of people is directly related to their behavior. This study performs a conceptual and theoretical analysis of religious texts such as: Quran, Nahjul Balagheh, Tohaful Oghoul, Baharul Anvar, Mizanul Hekmeh, and Ghorarul Hekam. The results show that:1. Among the general principles of moral intelligence of Borba (empathy, consciousness, attention and respect, self-control, kindness, fairness, and tolerance), religious texts stress consciousness, attention and respect, self-control, kindness, and fairness. 2. Among the four specific principles of moral intelligence of Lennick and Kiel (right-doing, sense of responsibility, kindness, and mercy), religious texts concentrate on right-doing, sense of responsibility, and mercy
