Creativity Levels Based on Transcendental Wisdom

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the creativity levels based on transcendental wisdom; thus, the qualitative approach and descriptive-analytical method are applied. The findings show that from the Sadra's viewpoint, the words of creation and innovation are two key words and are in different two levels of creativity (creation from matter and creation from nothing). Therefore, the human creativity is classified into the two general levels of contemporary creativity and transcendental creativity. The contemporary creativity is formed in the realm of connected imagination and its product as an external realization is after matter and time. This kind of creativity is divided into more detailed levels such as a) the capture of forms and meanings, b) the representation of sensible things, and c) the representation of reasonable things. The second creativity needs the connection to the disconnected imagination (the world of ideas) and having a purified soul and effort. In this level, the truths that the purified soul creates in itself after observing the imaginary forms (in the disconnected imagination), are suddenly created in the outside world without the interference of matter and other factors and without spending time
