The purpose of the study was to delve into the theoretical principle of "managing role of man" in Islamic view point. The research questions were as follows:
1. Who bears the managing responsibility in the family?
2. What are man and woman's stances in accordance with that role?
The researcher adopted a descriptive – analytical procedure in this study. To fulfill research goal, the researcher, having identified and obtained the concepts and documents based on religious texts, analyzed the content. The results indicated that the role of "macro – management" in the family is played by man, while woman is in charge of the internal management of the family.
